Early 1950s tailored military-style black wool double-breasted dress coat with peak lapel. The nipped waist and flared skirt is classic and elegant. The black wool has a silver fleck throughout. It features gorgeous silk velvet collar and cuffs with a full satin lining. There are welt pockets at the waist and a double row of 7 buttons.

"Meticulous workmanship and quality fashion are guaranteed by a Ben Gershel label in a suit or coat. Robert Knox, leading designer for Ben Gershel, has been designing fashions for as long as he can remember. His professional career began at 13 when he started as a sketcher in a New York coat and suit house."
